Frog Coaster Crochet Pattern
If you follow me on Instagram (@purlsandtopknots), you may have seen a reel where I asked an AI generator to write a crochet pattern for a frog bookmark.
The results were... not terrible! But definitely not a bookmark
Instead, I started using this little guy as a coaster for my coffee mugs and water bottle.
And surprising enough, a lot of people were interested in a pattern for this frog coaster! I used the AI generated pattern as a base for this, but made some changes to get a better outcome overall.
So without further ado, here is the pattern so you can make your very own froggy coaster!
What you will need:
Worsted (4) yarn in colors green, white, black, and pink

*If you would like smaller eyes, stop after Round 1.
Pupils:
Using black yarn and a tapestry needle, embroider a pupil into the center of each eye.
Assembly:
Attach the legs to the body by sewing them on using a tapestry needle and the same green yarn used for the body. Place them at the bottom of the body, spaced evenly apart.
Attach the eyes to the body using white yarn and a tapestry needle. Place them at the top of the body, spaced evenly apart.
Using pink yarn and a tapestry needle, embroider a smile onto the frog's body.
Weave in any remaining ends and trim.
All done!
If you make a frog coaster, I hope you enjoy it!
