This book was everything I hoped it would be and more!! From the second I picked it up I couldn't put it down. This is magical realism done so so right.
Darcy was so deeply written that she felt real, and I felt parts of myself in her. And Gabriel was the perfect counterpart to Darcy. Their chemistry was *chefs kiss*. From their first kiss I knew this story was going to hit me hard and that it did.
It tore my heart out and put it back together all at the same time. And I was left with such a heartwarming feel. And the acknowledgements genuinely made me tear up 🥹 Another perfect book from BK Borison. At this point I can confidently say I would read her grocery list and give it five stars as well!
